About Stack-a-Brick

Stack-a-Brick is a one-tap tower builder with a jobsite twist. A brick swings across the top of the screen — tap to drop it onto the stack below. Whatever overhangs the brick underneath gets sliced clean off, so every sloppy drop makes the next brick a little narrower and a lot harder to land.

Line a drop up dead-centre and you get a perfect: no slice, and a combo streak that pays out bonus points the longer you keep it going. The camera pans up as your tower climbs, the bricks start to sway, and your height ticks upward in metres or feet — your call.

How to play

  1. 1Watch the swing — A brick slides back and forth above the tower. It speeds up the higher you build.
  2. 2Drop it — Tap the screen, click, or press Space to drop the brick straight down onto the stack.
  3. 3Mind the overhang — Any part of the brick that misses the one below is sliced off. Your working brick only gets smaller from there.
  4. 4Chain perfects — Land a brick within a whisker of centre for a perfect — no slice, and a growing combo bonus.
  5. 5Climb — Keep stacking until a drop misses completely and the tower comes down. Then beat your best.

Tips for a taller tower

  • Aim for perfects early — keeping bricks full-width buys you room for mistakes later.
  • Don't chase the exact centre when the brick is moving fast; a safe overlap beats a greedy miss.
  • The sway is cosmetic — the brick still drops straight down, so trust the alignment, not the wobble.
  • Tap a hair before the brick reaches centre to account for reaction time.
  • Too quick or too slow? Set the pace with the Speed control above the game — Chill, Normal, or Fast. The tower still ramps up as you climb.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Tap anywhere on the play area to drop a brick. On a desktop you can click or press Space instead.

How is height measured?

Each brick you stack adds a fixed course height. You can switch the readout between metres and feet with the toggle above the game.

Is my score saved?

Your best score and height are stored locally in your own browser. Nothing is uploaded — clearing your browser data resets it.

What's a perfect?

Dropping a brick almost exactly on top of the one below, with no overhang. Perfects keep your brick full-width and build a combo that boosts your score.

Can I change the speed?

Yes. The Speed control above the game sets how fast the brick swings — pick Chill, Normal, or Fast. It only changes the starting pace; the game still speeds up the taller your tower gets.

Do I need to download or install anything?
