Overview
Siteometry is designed as a client-side tool collection. The calculators run in your browser, and the project values you enter into the calculators are processed locally on your device. Siteometry does not require an account, does not require a login, and does not intentionally collect or store calculator inputs on a server.
Scope of this policy
This policy applies to the Siteometry website, including the tool pages, blog pages, and informational pages made available under the Siteometry name. It does not apply to websites, services, repositories, platforms, or third-party tools that are not operated by Siteometry, even if they link to or from Siteometry.
Information we collect
At this stage, Siteometry does not provide user accounts, contact forms, payment flows, comments, uploads, or server-side project storage. As a result, Siteometry does not ask you to submit personal information through those features. Standard technical information may still be processed by hosting, browser, network, or security infrastructure when your browser requests a page, such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, referral information, timestamps, and similar connection data.
Calculator and project data
Values entered into Siteometry calculators, including construction dimensions, quantities, materials, rates, waste factors, and generated results, are intended to remain on your device. Calculations are performed in the browser. Unless a future feature clearly states otherwise before you use it, Siteometry does not receive, transmit, sell, or share your calculator inputs or generated project results.
How information is used
Technical information associated with page requests may be used to deliver the website, maintain availability and security, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate site performance. Siteometry does not use calculator inputs for profiling, advertising, model training, resale, or cross-site tracking.
Cookies and local storage
Siteometry may use browser storage for normal website operation, such as remembering language preferences, progressive web app behavior, or local tool state. Siteometry uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent, which you can grant or decline via the banner shown on your first visit. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site. Siteometry does not operate advertising cookies or behavioral advertising pixels.
Disclosure and third parties
Siteometry does not sell personal information. Limited technical information may be processed by service providers that help host, deliver, secure, or maintain the website. Those providers may process information according to their own infrastructure, security, retention, and legal compliance practices. Siteometry may also disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
Retention
Because calculator inputs are processed locally, Siteometry does not maintain a server-side record of those inputs. Any technical logs handled by hosting or security infrastructure are expected to be retained only as needed for operations, security, diagnostics, abuse prevention, legal compliance, and similar legitimate purposes.
Security
Siteometry is built to reduce privacy risk by avoiding account systems and server-side calculator storage. No website or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should avoid entering information into calculators that you consider confidential unless you are comfortable processing it in your own browser environment.
Children's privacy
Siteometry is intended for general construction, estimating, and do-it-yourself use. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly request personal information from children.
Your choices and rights
Because Siteometry currently does not maintain accounts or server-side calculator records, many access, correction, export, or deletion requests may not apply to calculator data that never leaves your device. Depending on your location, applicable privacy law may provide additional rights regarding personal information processed by a website or its service providers.
Changes to this policy
Siteometry may update this policy as the website changes, including if new features introduce accounts, forms, analytics, synchronization, exports, or other processing that differs from the current client-side model.
