Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Siteometry, its calculators, blog, and related pages (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.
The Service
Siteometry is a collection of free, client-side construction and do-it-yourself calculators. The tools run in your browser and are provided for general informational and estimating purposes only. The Service does not require an account, and the values you enter are processed locally on your device.
Estimates only — not a professional specification
All outputs, quantities, dimensions, costs, schedules, and other results produced by Siteometry are approximate estimates generated from the inputs you provide and from general assumptions and rounding. They are not measurements, engineering calculations, quotes, or a substitute for site-specific analysis. Real-world conditions — material variation, waste, tolerances, local codes, product specifications, and site constraints — will affect actual requirements. Results may contain errors or may not fit your particular situation.
Your responsibility to verify
You are solely responsible for independently checking, verifying, and confirming any result before relying on it, ordering materials, committing funds, or performing any work. Siteometry does not provide engineering, architectural, structural, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice, and no result or content on the Service constitutes such advice or creates a professional relationship. For any project where safety, compliance, structural integrity, or significant cost is involved, consult a licensed engineer, architect, contractor, or other appropriately qualified professional.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Siteometry disclaims all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, and non-infringement. Siteometry does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any result will be accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Siteometry and its operators, contributors, and suppliers will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, materials, time, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service or any result it produces — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Acceptable use

The Siteometry name, branding, design, text, and software are owned by Siteometry or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the calculators and read the content for your own personal or business estimating purposes, but you may not copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute the Service or its content as your own without permission. The numeric results you generate from your own inputs are yours to use.
